SHAH ALAM, June 26 — Selangor FC has been urged to file a protest against the decision by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) yesterday, which penalised the team for not participating in the Charity Shield Cup last month.

SHAH ALAM, June 25 — Lembah Jaya state assemblyman Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman Alhadad has offered to donate half his royalty payments this year to help pay the RM100,000 fine imposed on Selangor FC for not playing in the Charity Shield match against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri, Johor last month.
